Companionship and Determination through Pathos
Pathos is the most powerful tool that can persuade the audience because it's all about emotion and heart. Humans are much more convinced by our emotions than by logic. So this is about hearts, not heads.
Pathos is the appeal to the audience's emotions. We draw out or involve listeners' feelings by appealing to the heart. But this does not mean that the presenters need to show their emotions or cry or do something like that. There are many presenters who get really emotional at the moment, and it absolutely does nothing for the audience. And then there are other presenters who communicate in a very straightforward, but it still hits the audiences in the heart. So it's not about the speaker's emotions. It's about whether or not the speaker is appealing to the audience's emotions. That's a key distinction that a lot of people miss. So pathos is about communicating in a way that touches the audience's emotions, that evokes an emotional response from the presenter. And it could be an inspiration, It could be compassion, It could be humour even it could be anger.
We can appeal to our listeners' emotions. by far telling stories. Stories transport us. A well-told story will sweep us away into the world of the narrative. There's something about a story that we as listeners can see ourselves in personally, and it gets us all caught up in it, much more than a statistic or a fact.
Like every child, a blind child deserves to have a healthy and cheerful environment to learn. They deserve education, love and safety just like another regular child.

Language of Friendship |
Mridula Akhter and Polly Baroi are two best friends where Mridula is blind and Polly is a normal child. Both are students of Baptist Mission Integrated School. Mridula studies in class seven and Poly studies in class six. They are best friends though they don’t read in the same class. There are different teaching methods for blind students and other students in the school. While Mridula learned studying through braille, Polly has got the normal education method. Even they both have different uniforms. They don't get enough time to meet with each other since they don’t study in the same class. Despite these differences, their friendship has not gotten weak or faded away slowly. They both meet during the tiffin time. Eventually, they are so much happy that they have found each other in the school. Mridula shares that they both get connected through a cultural program of the school, where they sang a song together as a team with other students. But they found that they enjoy spending time with each other, also they can connect with each other through singing. They both are amazing singers and they shared that they sing together sometimes. It gives them happiness. Mridula was born blind, she isn’t t less confident or sunken into the darkness because of her disability. Rather than that she has embraced herself with the beauty of her smile. She is as optimistic as her friend Polly or more than her. explained that school is her favourite place because here she finds a special bonding with her friends.

Bringing Out Light Through Determination |
Mrs Promila Halder, a teacher at Baptist Mission Integrated School shared her inspiring story. She wasn’t blind from birth. Fate has made her blind for which she had to start to learn reading from class 9. She used to be a normal person but an accident has changed her life. After the accident, for a long time, she could not go out or had a normal life. But with the support of her father, Promila started learning braille where she felt the dots with her fingers. It took her a long time to learn braille but she could excel in it later. She completed her education at the Baptist Mission Integrated School. Later she started her Higher School Certificate at Lalmatia Govt. Mohila College. She also did a good job there. After that, she was called from school to be the teacher for the children like her. She just could not pass the opportunity to support the children like her. Now it has been almost six to seven years, and she is teaching in this school. She considers the school like her second home and she is not willing to leave her precious job within five years. She is also doing great at home. While talking about her personal life, she mentioned that she has a daughter who is now a university student name Gloria. She is happy that her father helped her at the moment she lost confidence. But she has regained her confidence, moreover, she has achieved her happiness and joy.
If a look deep is taken into Mrs Promila Halde’s life, it is found that earlier she has dispositional barriers to technology literacy. There are methods where a blind person can redeem himself/herself. But Promila Halder was uncomfortable or afraid to use the new method which she was not used to. But she unknowingly or maybe by knowing, chose the information literacy method, where she added critical thinking plus a willingness to view the process of learning in new and different ways. Promila Halder could overcome her dispositional barriers and conquer them till now.
In the end, we can say that pathos plays an important role in human life. It gives a person a hundred reasons to rise even though there might not have a single reason for being logical. But these emotions drive us to a new path, to a new friendship of peace and harmony. In every stage of life, we can relate to pathos; personal life, educational life even corporate life.
